Without the Moon
(jason bennett)
Just a sweet little love song.....enjoy.
I remember the days walking home from school, I was young and tall, playing it cool. At least that's what they all believed. But to tell you the truth I was shivering inside every time that you walked on by. And I was blowin' kisses after you'd leave. And then one day you gave me that look. And honey, that was all it took. And ever since that day its been you and me. Well I could probably live without the moon or a tall, cool one in the afternoon but I know that I can't live without you. Well I could probably live without the leaves falling from the October trees but I know that I can't live without you. But I can probably live without the moon......
And now twenty years and two little kids, school pictures on the fridge. Yeah, honey I'd say we done pretty good. 'Cause I'm still blowing kisses every time you leave and we still give each other those shaky knees yeah, we're still going strong like I knew we would. And I just wanted to say its been quite a ride hanging on to each other with the tide, I wouldn't change a thing even if I could. Well I could probably live without the moon or a tall cool one in the afternoon. But I know that I can't live without you. Well I could probably live without the leaves falling from the October trees but I know that I can't live without you. But I could probably live....without the moon.
