Stormy Weather Coming Down (Acoustic Version)
(jason bennett)
It must be getting late, my train's already gone. I got a two-dollar ticket to nowhere and my life's a Dylan song. I think I need a heavy jacket, this t-shirt's soaking wet. These blue jeans are a-fadin' and the worst ain't over yet. Stormy weather coming down. I've taken this road before so I know what I'm talking about. Life's just a scary old song and dance and I don't want to be left out. Now I can feel that stormy weather coming down through the clouds. Sometimes its so damn lonely, sometimes its so damn loud. Stormy weather coming down. Now I can feel that stormy weather. I can see it coming down. I can feel that stormy weather. I can hear it getting loud. And how I miss your arms around me and having you to ease my pain. But now you're gone from me forever and I'm just drowning in the rain. Stormy weather coming down. Now I'll keep right on walking until I get you off of my mind. 'Cause as soon as I forget you the weather will be fine. And I don't know where I'm going, maybe someplace I ain't been. A place where I can go to til the weather turns again. Stormy weather coming down.
