"Jason Bennett goes old-school with Acoustic Harbor with an inexpensive four-track recorder, a microphone, a guitar and an empty laundry room. The result is ten songs that are incredibly well-crafted and emotionally immediate."

ramblin' round

April 9, 2005
Hey folks. Just wanted to update you on what's been going on lately. I have a new batch of songs. I think I've penned about 14 new ones in the last few months. I am looking forward to recording them all on the upcoming cd which is going to be called "Acoustic Harbor." Most of it will be acoustic stuff, but there will be a few full productions as well. Other than that I have just been stumblin' around, staring out at the beautiful Puget Sound and trying to take light steps. I saw a pod of Orcas (killer whales) the other day. The Pacific Northwest is a magical place. I plan on booking some more coffeehouse gigs too. I will post the dates when I get them finalized.....jb
